Research Institute of Asian Women (RIAW) invites undergraduate and graduate students of Sookmyung Women's University to participate in the 2026 OMNES: Journal of Multicultural Society Student Research Paper Competition. This competition aims to strengthen Sookmyung students' research capacity and foster the next generation of global scholars. We encourage your active interest and participation!
1. Eligibility : Undergraduate‧Graduate students of Sookmyung Women's University (including students on leave of absence and those who have completed coursework)
- Individual or team submissions are accepted
- Faculty supervision is required
- Students from other universities may participate as co-authors, but the first author and supervising faculty member must be affiliated with Sookmyung Women's University
2. Topics : Scholarly inquires on multicultural societies and migration
Ex) Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Multiculturalism and migration-related issues (policies, law, welfare, education, and health)
- Migration-background families, women, youth, and children
- Migrant workers, International students, Diaspora
- Social integration
3. Submission Materials :
- Application form (Online) Apply HERE (or scan QR code on the poster)
- Research paper (Approximately 25 pages, A4)
- Plagiarism/ Similarity Check Report (KCI or Turnitin iThenticate, below 20%)
- Certificate of enrollment (or leave of absence)

4. Submission Dates : February 2 (Monday) ~ April 30 (Thursday), 2026
5. Announcement of Results : July 2026 (Results will be posted on the RIAW's website. The Award recipients will be notified individually)

6. Award Ceremony : August 21 (Friday), 2026 (at 2026 RIAW Annual Conference)
